Now Even Netas wants to live in HSR Layout!

A news report published in Times of India, indicates that the politicians who were allotted sites under BDA’s G category intially pleaded for sites  in posh localities like Namma HSR Layout,  HBR Layout, OMBR Layout , Indiranagar and RMV Extn.

I wonder where can we get empty sites in HSR Layout which are not allotted already except for the many odd and corner sites which are kept for Auctions?.

The BDA started site allotments of the first instalment of 66 — all to legislators who have been given 50 ft x 80 ft sites. It has given out 45 sites so far in RMV Extension, Sir M V Layout, Anjanapura and JP Nagar 8th Phase.

Legislators who’ve been given sites in underdeveloped layouts — Anjanapura, JP Nagar and Sir MV Layout — initially pleaded with BDA officials to re-allot the sites in areas like RMV Extension, HSR Layout, Indiranagar, OMBR or HBR Layout. “Everyone wants sites in posh areas. The legislators brought a lot of pressure on BDA to reallot their sites but when they realized it is solely at the CM’s discretion, they are now heading to Vidhana Soudha,” BDA officials said.

But not many sites are available in prime areas. “There are no more sites available in Indiranagar, Koramangala, HSR and RMV. Whenever encroached sites are recovered after demolition, they are being given away under G-category. Such sites have to be actually auctioned by the BDA,” officials point out.

Allotment letters for 11 recent allottees are also being prepared. Officials have asked for certain documents — self-affidavits, domicile certificates and additional information — which beneficiaries have to submit.
