14th Main Flyover-HSR Layout

Traffic flow will be affected at the junction of 14th Main, HSR Layout, as Bangalore Development Authority has started flyover construction here. City traffic police have suggested an alternative route to avoid traffic woes, starting Saturday.

Since the construction of the flyover is expected to take three-fourths of the road at the junction, and work will continue for at least four months, vehicles plying from Marathahalli and Sarjapur on Outer Ring Road (ORR), towards Hosur Road, Central Silk Board and BTM Ring Road, will take the following route: Heavy vehicles are prohibited on HSR Ring Road 19th Main, towards BMTC depot (near Nanda Hotel).

Buses and trucks should take a left turn at 19th Main junction and move towards Cambridge 17th Cross to take a right turn to reach BDA junction to reach HSR 5th Main junction and then proceed towards their destination.

Cars and other light motor vehicles will have to reach the 17th Cross with 9th Main, from where they will have to take a left turn to reach HSR Ring Road.

The road between 9th Main of HSR Ring Road and till its junction with 19th Main (Nanda Hotel junction) will be made one-way. This would facilitate the movement of vehicles from Central Silk Board junction towards Agara.

Vehicles can take both left and right turn from 14th Main of HSR Ring Road to go towards Koramangala and various sectors of HSR Layout.

At Last some peace comes to our Neighborhood as the Traffic Police have canceled the one way rule for 27th main and 10th cross, also they have unblocked all the connecting roads where they had dumped the debris to restrict the vehicle movement. Now no need to worry about getting into any road. The traffic has been reduced to a great extent and now HSRians can feel little bit safer while crossing the roads!

The Road widening work which had been stopped due to BBMP ELections have been resumed and many roads mainly 27th Main and part of 19th Main etc are being widened up.

BDA has started the work on the Service Road and now it is almost getting completed, the service road on the HSR 5th Sector side which was dug up to lay pipeline about 3 years ago, was halted for unknown reasons, bringing complete death for the Commercial Establishments on this [...]]]>

BDA has started the work on the Service Road and now it is almost getting completed, the service road on the HSR 5th Sector side which was dug up to lay pipeline about 3 years ago, was halted for unknown reasons, bringing complete death for the Commercial Establishments on this road, not only that because of the bad state of this Road, many empty site owners were unable to construct anything with their sites now you can see many things happening here once this road is completed, also there is a Huge Shopping Mall coming up on this Service Road opposite Fernhill Gardens. This is going to be a prime Commercial hub already there is Reliance fresh, 2 Schools, Sherwin Williams, Aranya Restaurant, Canara Bank and many offices on this Service Road and the advantage is there is no Drainage on this side!!

Light motor vehicles (two-wheelers, cars and jeeps):
Vehicles from Outer Ring Road and Sarjapura towards H S R Ring Road and Koramangala: Can take left turn on Agara Junction 27th main to enter 27th main road, move towards Bharat Petrol Bunk, take right turn at 7th cross, move towards Agara Village Junction, Agara bus depot junction and Mantri Sarovar apartments to join H S R Ring Road.

Plying of heavy vehicles

Heavy Vehicles (BMTC/KSRTC/private/factory buses and transport trucks):
Vehicles from Outer Ring Road and Sarjapura towards H S R Ring Road and Koramangala:

Take left turn at Agara 27th main junction to reach 27th main road, move towards CPWD quarters, take right turn at HSR 17th cross, move towards Cambridge School junction, take right turn at 19th main road, take left turn at Agara bus depot to join HSR Ring Road at Mantri Sarovara Apartments.

Ban on vehicular movement
Vehicular movement from Automart junction and HSR 14th main junction towards Agara junction and taking right turn on Agara 27th main junction is banned.

One-way traffic facilitated:

One-way traffic is facilitated from Agara 27th main junction to HSR first sector, second cross.

One-way traffic is facilitated at Agara 7th cross:from Bharat Petrol Bunk to HSR 100 feet road Ring Road till Mantri Sarovar apartment.

FOUR & TWO-WHEELERS: Vehicles from Mico Layout and Jayadeva Hospital, going to Madivala and Koramangala should take left turn at BTM 16th Main Road Jn, to reach Gangotri Bar Jn. The vehicles can move on Maruthinagar Main Road to reach Sarjapura Jn and join Koramangala, Madivala checkpost.

BUSES & TEMPOS: Vehicles from Mico Layout and Jayadeva Hospital, going to Madivala, Koramangala, should take the road linking BTM 16th Main Road Jn, BTM 29th Main Road Jn and Karanth Jn. They should then take right turn towards Hosur Road at Silk Board Jn, take U-turn at Rupena Agrahara and move on to Silk Board flyover to reach Madivala, Koramangala.

LIGHT AND HEAVY VEHICLES: Vehicles from Agara and HSR 14th Main Road going to Madivala and Koramangala should take BTM Agara Tank Road, take left turn at Automart Jn to reach Jakkasandra and Koramangala Krupanidhi Jn to move to Madivala, Koramangala.

Vehicles from HSR 5th Main Road and HSR Layout Mallige Junction going towards Madivala and Koramangala, should take left turn at HSR Layout Mallige Hotel Junction, use the service road, take the free left turn at Silk Board Junction towards Hosur Road, reach Rupena Agrahara Junction, take U-turn and move on to Silk Board flyover towards Madivala and Koramangala.
